3Shape TRIOS Scanner

If you use a 3Shape TRIOS scanner at your practice, you can send digital impressions directly to our technicians at Vision Artist Dental Lab through 3Shape Communicate.

Please follow these steps to send your file to our lab:

1. Your practice should be registered with 3Shape Communicate when your scanner is installed. If Vision Artist Dental Lab is not already pre-installed on the list of available labs, send a connection request from the 3Shape Communicate account to Vision Artist Lab.
   1. If you are not registered, you may register yourself at 3shapecommunicate.com.
   2. Vision Artist Dental Lab will respond that our lab is “TRIOS ready” to receive your scan.
2. Complete the intraoral scan.
3. Complete the TRIOS Rx. Use the freeform notes section to provide additional details, branded product names and additional instructions.
   1. Please note that not all restorative models are pre-populated on the RX. If you are requesting a model-less case, please specify the request in the notes section of the RX.
4. Select Vision Artist Dental Lab from the Lab menu and then Send.
