This program will review bone grafting options as it relates to socket preservation before implant placement. We will review the many treatment options for hard tissue augmentations and barrier membrane protocol-md-6s. This program will help to educate patients in the importance of bone grafting before implant placement. At the completion of the program, participants will learn:
- Importance of Socket Preservation
- Overview off Hard Tissue Augmentation Options
- Overview of Barrier Membranes
- Presenting Option of Socket Preservation/Bone Grafting to Patient Group participants will perform a socket repair procedure on a stone model.
This procedure is a flapless technique designed to preserve natural soft tissue architecture and vascularity. Clinicians will atraumatically extract a tooth using a flapless technique, shape and prepare the membrane, line facial defect with membrane, augment the socket with bone graft material, and close the socket with membrane and suture. In addition to the hands on program, updates on the latest regenerative technologies and how they can increase the success of your dental implant cases will be covered.
